"Expressionismus & Expressionismi"
Showcasing German Expressionism paintings, the exhibition focuses on the two founding groups, Blaue Reiter and Brücke. The former constituted of artists and philosophers from Munich, starting in 1911, who approached their work through theory and harmony - artists included Kandinsky and Franz Marc. On the other hand, Brücke was a group of artists who started in 1908 in Berlin that based their works on individual perceptions and emotions. The exhibit will showcase the diversity of the origins of the movement through comparing the two founding groups with 50 different works.
